| Mission statement: Although experimental techniques in molecular cell biology are advancing rapidly, quantitative data is still characterized by large uncertainties and low-dimensionality with respect to the complexity of cellular processes. The group is dedicated to advance computational methods to properly account for these degeneracies. This applies to the forward problem, where model simulations need to be done in the presence of parametric uncertainty and to the inverse problem where uncertain measurement data is used to confine unknown process parameters. |
